A delicate pink rose with leafy branches is depicted on this vintage sterling silver and guilloché enamel brooch by Norwegian silversmith Ivar T. Holth, circa 1940s/50s.
The petite sized pin consists of sterling silver with gold vermeil and guilloche enameling with hand painted pink rose flower over a white machine turned ground, and vitreous glass finish.
It measures approximately 1 inch wide by 13/16 of an inch high, has a tube hinge and c-catch, weighs 5.9 grams, and is signed with Holth’s logo of the letter “H” within a circle, along with “925 S”.
