A soft apricot orange silk with floral pattern, makes up this elegant and vintage Japanese coin purse, aka wristlet pouch, with triangular design, circa 1960s.
These dainty purses or bags are traditionally made from antique kimonos – with this purse consisting of a textured Chirimen silk crepe, in colors of apricot, lavender, goldenrod, silver, white and black.
It has a single woven handle strap, and YKK zippered closure down the center, with a faille fabric interior lining as shown.
The purse measures approximately 4&3/8 inches wide at its widest point by 6&3/4 inches high (excluding strap) top to bottom.
Very good condition – clean and intact.
