A bright blue turquoise gemstone is the feature of this vintage hand fabricated, sterling silver ‘Studio Jewelry’ bar pin, circa 1950s/60s.
The slender mid-century brooch or pin consists of hand wrought sterling silver wire crafted in a modernist design, and bezel set with an oval cut turquoise stone, dappled with a dark brown matrix.
It measures approximately 2&5/8 inches across, weighs 3.5 grams, and is faintly stamped “Sterling” on the pin stem itself.
