Vintage Serafin Moctezuma Leaf Brooch Taxco Sterling Silver Pin – Pre-Eagle

A finely hand-crafted abstract leaf is featured in this vintage 3D sterling silver brooch by Taxco silver master Serafin Moctezuma, circa 1930s/40s.

The Art Deco era ‘Pre-Eagle’ brooch is completely handwrought from sterling silver, and is in the form of a high dimensional curved leaf with raised veining and pierced openwork.

It can be worn in a variety of directions as shown, and measures approximately 1&1/4 inches by 2&5/8 inches in size, weighs 16.9 grams, and is signed with Moctezuma’s “SM” logo, along with “Taxco”, “Hecho en Mexico” and “925”.
