Fluid lines and quality craftsmanship, defines this vintage Taxco sterling silver brooch which appears to be in the form of a zebra or horse, circa 1980s.
The handsome animal pin consists of thick gauge die-stamped sterling silver, with raised surface swirling resembling zebra stripes, and which provide a 3D effect.
It measures approximately 2&1/4 inches wide at its widest point, by 2&1/4 inches high, from ear tip to hoof, has a flat silver metal fitting with safety clasp, weighs 18.2 grams, and is marked “TV-73”, “Mexico”, and “925”.
