A bright and shiny polished shell with a 3D spiral shape, makes up this vintage sterling silver seashell pendant necklace, circa 1980s.
The well cast sculptural pendant has a shell or ‘gastropod’ appearance, with swirled shape and extended lip at the base.
It has a wide bail and hangs from a sterling silver snake chain with lobster clasp.
The pendant (including bail) hangs approximately 2&1/4 inches in length, and the necklace measures approximately 24 inches around.
Both the chain and inside of the larger bail, are marked “925”, and the necklace in its entirety weighs 24.7 grams.
