The daughters of Zeus dance about in the form of The Three Graces, on this vintage silver and abalone shell, triple drop cameo necklace from Italy, circa 1950s/60s.
The mid-century necklace consists of unmarked 800 silver with a sterling silver chain – and has three suspended carved shell cameo ovals depicting the mythological trio, in bezel settings with decorative connecting chain links.
It also has a spring ring clasp marked “Sterling”, measures approximately 21 inches around, and has a total weight of 18.3 grams.
