Vintage 80s Butler & Wilson Rhinestone Lizard Brooch Reptile Pin AS IS – Book Piece

So sleek and slinky is this large sized vintage lizard brooch, completely set with clear faceted rhinestones by Butler & Wilson, circa 1980s.

The unsigned reptile is a book piece, appearing in Vivienne Becker’s “Rough Diamonds: The Butler & Wilson Collection” and features a goldtoned base, faceted chaton and baguette rhinestones, and articulated design which conforms to the body, so that it can be worn in different ways as shown.

*PLEASE NOTE that there are some darkened stones as shown in pic 4.

Otherwise, the lizard remains in good condition and measures approximately 3 inches wide at its widest point by 7&1/2 inches in length, from snout to tail tip, has two pinback closures to secure in place, and weighs 40.8 grams.
